ASP in a Nutshell
Written by A. Keyton Weissinger. Published by O'Reilly.  In the nutshell tradition, this book will serve as a reference when you know what you want to do but forgot the exact syntax.  It is geared toward the individual that knows ASP and just wants to see how something is done without all of the fluff and explanation.  It is coming in handy as I am getting better with ASP and don't require as much hand holding.   Definitely a great tool for the novice.
Active Server Pages for Dummies (2nd Edition)
Written by Bill Hatfield.  Published by IDG Books.  This is an excellent book for the beginner.  After reading ASP for dummies, I am able to connect to and manipulate a database.  The writing style is very exiting.  Bill did a great job of making this book interesting.  A must read for the Newbie starting out with Active Server pages.
  Beginning ASP Databases
Written by John Kaufman, Thearon Willis, David Buser, Kevin Spencer.  Published by WROX.  This is a rock solid book and is my favorite ASP book. It really teches the stuff. Author knows what silly errors students make and corrects them on the fly. It will take more than a week to grasp all material, but the time and efforts are extremely well spent using this tutorial. I was trying to find errors but could not. It does not mean there aren't any, but it does means that this book is really good.
