MCSE - The Core Exams in a Nutshell 2nd Edition  Written by Michael Moncur. Published by O'Reilly. It includes Networking Essentials, Workstation, Server, Server in the Enterprise and Windows 98. Core exams in a nutshell is geared towards teaching you what you need to pass the exams. For each of the five exams covered in this book, you start off with a chart on the areas to study. You then go into a comprehensive study guide with nice explanations and highlighted tips for things to watch for on the exam. Next you get a nice section of Questions and Answers. Finally, my favorite is a highlighter's index that contains all of the key points to review before taking the exam.  Retailing for about $20.00, this book is a great bargain.
		MCSE Core Requirements 2nd Edition Written by James Chellis.  Published by Sybex.  Contains Net Essentials, Workstation, Server and Enterprise.  The Network Essentials alone is worth it.  The other three repeat a lot of info but that is expected as the exams cover much of the same stuff.  This set also comes with CD's with some nice sample questions.
		NT Core Four Exam Cram Pack - Third Edition Written by Ed Tittel, Kurt Hudson, James Michael Stewart.   Published by Coriolis.   These books make excellent study supplements.  They are overall well written and organized.  Exam Cram is known for having some errors, but being the third edition, these books are very accurate and error free.  We highly recommend grabbing this whole set as it is well worth the price.
		Certification Success Written by Ed Tittel.  Published by Coriolis.  This guide introduces you to the various vendors certification processes.  It includes MCSE, CNE, A+, Oracle, MCSD, CNA, CISCO and SUN/JAVA.  This information is invaluable to the beginner to get familiar with the process.  All of the information in this book can be obtained by visiting the vendors websites but for under $10.00, this book will save you a lot of time surfing.
