Windows NT in a Nutshell
Written by Eric Pearce. Published by O'Reilly. This book is a good desktop reference.  It is short, concise and well laid out.  One downfall is that  it gives you more of a quick definition of terms and does not go into detail on how to do things.  It appears to be designed for the administrator who knows what he/she wants but forgot where to locate it.  Still a good addition to your library as the price tag is reasonable.

MCSE - The Core Exams in a Nutshell 2nd Edition
Written by Michael Moncur. Published by O'Reilly. It includes Networking Essentials, Workstation, Server, Server in the Enterprise and Windows 98. Core exams in a nutshell is geared towards teaching you what you need to pass the exams. For each of the five exams covered in this book, you start off with a chart on the areas to study. You then go into a comprehensive study guide with nice explanations and highlighted tips for things to watch for on the exam. Next you get a nice section of Questions and Answers. Finally, my favorite is a highlighter's index that contains all of the key points to review before taking the exam.
Retailing for about $20.00, this book is a great bargain.

Microsoft Windows NT Server Enterprise  Exam Guide -  2nd Edition
Written by Emmett Dulaney.   Published by Que.  Highly focused on what you need to pass the exam.  I am quickly becoming a fan of Emmett's writing style.  A must for anyone going the self study route.  This is quite possibly the only resource you will need for the exam.

MCSE Training Guide:  NT Server 4 Enterprise
Written by Jason Sirockman.  Published by New Riders.  A good study guide for this exam.  It covers all of the material needed for the exam.  I liked the extensive use of screenshots to show what the author was talking about.  One downfall is the lack of quality sample questions, but the book is still worth getting.

Windows NT Server 4.0 is the Enterprise Flashcards
Written by Michael Moncur. Published by O'Reilly.  As usual, Michael is right on target.  These 256 flashcards contain all of the exam material and then some.  There is a card that describes each domain model thoroughly, then he even has cards to explain the advantages and disadvantages of each.  You also get a nice poster that makes a nice quick reference hanging in your cube or office.

Windows NT Server 4.0 is the Enterprise Study Guide
Written by Syngress Media Inc. Published by Osborne.  The book does not go deep inside of the subject but does a nice job for those who are in command of material and just want to put their previous knowledge in order. Electronic HTML version on CD with cross references should help those who do preparation during business hours on their employer's buck. Those in a hurry to get their NT certification before the process is switched to Windows 2000 certification should use this book. Beware of errors, though.
