Webmaster in a Nutshell Written by Stephen Spainhour & Robert Eckstein.  Published by O'Reilly. Great reference book for HTML, XML, CGI, JavaScript, and PHP.  This book contains some quality information.  My only criticism is that it is geared towards Apache web servers.  Being a big Microsoft fan, I was a little disappointed at the lack of mention of IIS.
		HTML Pocket Reference Written by Jennifer Niederst.  Published by O'Reilly. Very convenient listing of all of the html tags.  I use this quite often as there are just too many tags for me to memorize.  It is nice to have this on the shelf to grab.  It also has character and color charts.
		Web Design in a Nutshell Written by Jennifer Niederst.  Published by O'Reilly. Goes through all the basics of web design including tables, frames and forms.  Jennifer shows us how to design a nice looking website.  She even brushes on JavaScript. XML and DHTML.  This book is written for Apache web servers.
		HTML - The Definitive Guide Written by Chuck Musciano & Bill Kennedy.  Published by O'Reilly. While containing lots of information to help the beginning to intermediate web designer, this book is very dry and boring.  It contains a lot of valuable information and will serve as a good reference.  Just don't pick it up and start reading cover to cover.
