Windows NT in a Nutshell  Written by Eric Pearce. Published by O'Reilly. This book is a good desktop reference.  It is short, concise and well laid out.  One downfall is that  it gives you more of a quick definition of terms and does not go into detail on how to do things.  It appears to be designed for the administrator who knows what he/she wants but forgot where to locate it.  Still a good addition to your library as the price tag is reasonable.

MCSE - The Core Exams in a Nutshell 2nd Edition
Written by Michael Moncur. Published by O'Reilly. It includes Networking Essentials, Workstation, Server, Server in the Enterprise and Windows 98. Core exams in a nutshell is geared towards teaching you what you need to pass the exams. For each of the five exams covered in this book, you start off with a chart on the areas to study. You then go into a comprehensive study guide with nice explanations and highlighted tips for things to watch for on the exam. Next you get a nice section of Questions and Answers. Finally, my favorite is a highlighter's index that contains all of the key points to review before taking the exam.
Retailing for about $20.00, this book is a great bargain.

MCSE Training Guide:  NT Workstation 4
Written by Dennis Maione.  Published by New Riders.  Excellent resource.  Covers all exam material in depth.  Very easy to read.  Dennis does a great job pointing out key areas to know for the exam.  Well worth the money.  You will however need additional sample tests to fully prepare for the exam.

Windows NT Workstation 4.0 Study Guide
Written by Syngress, Inc.  Published by Osborne.  It covers all material required to pass the exam. However, the material is a bit outdated as it was writen in March of 1998. Recommended as a refresher course for those who are working with NT and need to pass the test ASAP. Be careful of errors though.
